There are several places you may go for information about this project.
Start with the online resources link (on this page) and go to one of the Encyclopedias
- BRITANNICA ONLINE SCHOOL EDITION type 'Classical Music' in search box and scroll down for specific periods. Britannica has a lot of good information on specific composers (make sure to spell names correctly)
- WORLD BOOK STUDENT type 'Classical Music' in search box and scroll down for Romantic, Baroque, Impressionism and Classical period. Click on links for Jazz and Rock and Roll.
- MULTIMEDIA ENCYCLOPEDIA (SCHOLASTIC) - In the Multimedia Encyclopedia, Scroll down to 'Development of Western Music Forms and you will find links to specific periods
Make sure to check the links at the top of the articles that say 'Web Links','Web's Best Sites' or 'Related Information' for links to outside sources.
Most Encyclopedia articles also have a citation link that you can use for your bibliography. Just cut and paste the information for MLA format.
